Earlier today on ESPN’s First Take, the crew got into a round-table discussion about the top quarterback in college football next season. The conversation was basically started around Johnny Manziel of Texas A&M, last year’s Heisman Trophy winner, being ranked behind Teddy Bridgewater on Mel Kiper’s Big Board. For whatever reason, the folks at ESPN thought it would be wise to call on Stephan A. Smith to get his opinion on the situation. Without actually calling Bridgewater overrated, Smith called him overrated. He’s not very impressed with Teddy Heisman to say the least. Just from my eye, I saw him two games this year and he won both of them, Cincinnati and Temple. What do ya want, a cookie? I’m just not sold. I look at him and I get it. 3,718 yards passing, 27 touchdowns passing, completed about 68% of his passes, I get it. But I’m a big dude on schedule. Sugar Bowl victory against Florida, okay.  But as I look, Kentucky, Missouri State, North Carolina, FIU, etc., I mean am I r...

In Mel Kiper Jr’s latest 2014 draft predictions, he predicted Teddy Bridgewater to be picked 2nd overall behind South Carolina’s Jadeveon Clowney.  This included him being picked over Heisman winner Johnny Manziel. ESPN’s Colin Cowherd Tabs Teddy Bridgewater As The Next Great NFL Quarterback

There are two different ways to perceive ESPN radio host, Colin Cowherd. You’re either a fan, or you can’t stand the guy. I actually think he’s pretty good at what he does and as a local radio hack, I can appreciate his entertainment factor. Along with doing radio for ESPN, he also frequently appears on the four letter network’s television show, SportsNation. Cowherd appeared...

Stephen A. Smith defends his crazy rumor by starting another crazy rumor about Doc and Ainge

A couple days ago now, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith threw this out there. He said that he was hearing in "NBA circles" (pictured above) that the Celtics and Clippers were talking about swapping DeAndre Jordan, Eric Bledsoe and Caron Butler for Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Doc Rivers. Obviously, that will never happen. The Celtics probably aren't going to be trading...

Danny Ainge gives blunt and candid interview, calls Stephen A. Smith rumors "silly"

Aside from punking Stephen A. Smith and completely dismissing his rumors as not even worth talking about, Danny Ainge delves pretty deep into some key issues surrounding the Celtics. He says Rajon Rondo will be ready by training camp, he thinks KG will play next year and he expects Doc will be back. The hugest thing that I took away from this video is that Ainge says that the team...

Soon, we will find out how full of crap Stephen A. Smith is

ESPN's Stephen A. Smith just won't stop talking about the Boston Celtics, and in particular, Doc Rivers.
