NFL Trade Rumors:
Rams running back Steven Jackson hinted Thursday that he will consider retirement following this season, per the Associated Press.
“If I have to write my story,” Jackson said Thursday, via the Associated Press. “I’d rather go out like Barry Sanders and leaving people to want more than to leave too late.”
So far on the year, Jackson has rushed for 990 yards and four touchdowns on 246 carries. 10 more yards Sunday against the Seahawks would give Jackson his eighth-consecutive 1,000 yard-season.
Jackson can opt out of his contract after this season and become a free agent. The 29-year old has made it known that he would like to retire with the Rams. Jackson mentioned that he will take time this offseason to reflect on the things he’s accomplished in his career, along with this season.
If Jackson decides to continue playing next season, we have him ranked 14 on our list of top 50 2013 free agents.

I have a lot of respect for the Rams/49ers rivalry, but the divisional rival I hate the most is the Seattle Seahawks. The Rams have never beat the Seahawks twice in the same season, but the Rams haven't lost a divisional game this season. We already know that Steven Jackson is going to have his 8th straight 1,000 yard game season. He's only 10 yards away! We also know that...

The Seattle Seahawks have averaged 50 points per game in the past three weeks, the most points in a three-week span since the 1950 Los Angeles Rams.

St. Louis Rams (7-7-1) at Seattle Seahawks (10-5)
Everyone knows about the Seahawks’ home prowess, but it’s really, really significant, possibly even more than people realize. At home, they are 47-20 ATS since 2005, including 6-0 ATS as double digit favorites and 16-3 ATS as touchdown plus home favorites. For contrast, they are 24-43 ATS on the road in that same time period....
