Stingley May Feel Unemployment Sting at Seasons En

Posted July 20, 2013

As the arena football league approaches  its  last two weeks of the regular season the heat apppears to  be turning up on  coaches with losing records.  Pat Ohara

head  coach of the New Orleans Voodoo and  Darryl Stingley  coach of the Pittsburgh Power are two of the prime candidates to lose their jobs at seasons end.The two  have seen their teams give some great efforts this season but they have failed to produce badly needed wins. The two owners of the teams are in markets where winning is expected and change is demanded when it doesnt happen. The Voodoo might be in a better situation in terms of saving Oharas job because they still have a shot at the playoffs however the coach is responsible for the record and if the team doesnt respond change is needed. These teams are also facing questions about their futures thus adding to the   pressure on the coach. How does the coach survive in this situation? The  coach can only do his job and hope the cirumstances around him brighten, he is not the teams savior, if its meant for him too stay he will stay, only time     will   tell.       Next week   who will win the Mvp   adward    will give you a closer look.    This week on   ArenaFootball Saturday  look for the Orlando Predators to rout the  Cleveland Gladiators   81-23.
