With the win, Alabama improves to 17-10 and 6-1 in SEC play, while the Tigers fall to 15-11 and 0-7 in conference action.
AUBURN – The Alabama baseball team tried to mount a late inning rally, but came up short as the Crimson Tide dropped the second game of a Southeastern Conference series, 6-3, to the Auburn Tigers on Friday night from Plainsman Park. With the loss, Alabama falls to 17-11 overall and 6-2 in SEC play, while the Tigers improve to 16-11, 1-7 in conference play.
