PLAYERS: Daryl Jones
TEAMS: Cincinnati Reds
Going to be short and sweet with the weekend update. The Reds released two players this weekend, both from AAA. Daryl Jones and Danny Dorn were both let go. As a guy who has been a Dorn fan for about as long as he has been a Red, I hope he can catch on somewhere else and if he hits like he has in the past, gets a shot with an MLB team. I am convinced that he can hit RHP in the Majors. Earlier in the week Randy took in a game in Chattanooga when the Blue Wahoos were visiting. Here are some pictures from the game: Randy also shared some video, but I am having an incredibly difficult time getting the video ready for the site.

Reds Lose 4-3, Manage to Split Series with Giants

After a lackluster 8 innings, the Reds started to come back in the 9th, having the bases loaded with no outs, allowing Miguel Cairo to come to the plate and drive in the tying run. Unfortunately, two strikeouts and a pop-out ended the Reds best chance of winning the game. The Giants came back in the bottom of the ninth, and won the game with an Angel Pagan ground rule double...
