20. WR Kendall Wright A-Kendall Wright was 16th on my board and fills a need at wide receiver as Nate Washington is not a #1 receiver and Kenny Britt is unreliable. Without Britt, they struggled for consistency at the wide receiver position. This pick should be an A, but I don’t see how they passed on David DeCastro. He was arguably the top prospect of the decade at their position of biggest need. In fact, guard/center might be the only position where they need a new starter. I don’t get it.52. OLB Zach Brown AThis is a great steal. I had a first round grade on Zach Brown, who is an underrated talent with elite athleticism. He also fills a big need at linebacker as Will Witherspoon is getting older. Brown could start year 1. The Titans have the makings of a talented linebacking corps for years to come with Zach Brown, Colin McCarthy, and Akeem Ayers.82. DT Mike Martin AThis was a deep defensive tackle class so it makes a lot of sense that they could get a good value on one in the 3r...

North Carolina Football: Zach Brown taken in the 2nd Round
After the first round of the NFL Draft, where UNC’s defensive end Quinton Coples was picked 16th by the NY Jets, round two saw another former Tar Heel go off the board. The Tennessee Titans used their pick, the 52nd overall, on Friday night to take line back Zach Brown. The OLB led the squad last season with 105 tackles (13.5 for losses), plus had 5.5 sacks and 3 interceptions...
Former Michigan DT Mike Martin celebrates being drafted by Tennessee Titans
Mike Martin started 37 games at defensive tackle for Michigan from 2008-2011. He was a two-time All Big Ten selection. Friday night, he realized a dream when the Tennessee Titans drafted him in the third round of the NFL draft. Martin held a draft party at an Ann Arbor restaurant with family and friends.
He posted a video of the highlights of the night on his YouTube channel...
Titans sign LB Zac Diles, FB Collin Mooney
The Tennessee Titans have signed veteran linebacker Zac Diles and rookie fullback Collin Mooney, who will now be asking the Army for an early release.
Mooney set a rushing record as a senior at Army in 2008, running for 1,339 yards. He graduated from West Point in 2009 and spent the past three years serving. Now he's hoping to try playing in the NFL.
Diles is a five-year veteran...
Evaluating the Titans' post-draft additions
I kept track of the Titans' undrafted free agent additions, but didn't add any commentary. With the Titans making a couple moves today other than that, it's time to add a level of analysis to the information collation and reportage. I'll start with the undrafted free agents and then add the other players:WR Devin Aguilar-One of four wideouts the Titans drafted. A...
Thompson talks Titans
SMU defensive end/tight end hybrid Taylor Thompson was on the golf course in Houston Saturday when the Titans called him up to inform him they'd be drafting him in a couple minutes. Tennessee was one of 10 teams Thompson had been talking with months leading up to the NFL Draft and he couldn't be happier about his placement.
Redrafting for the Titans
If the Titans had not drafted the players they did last week, who might they have drafted instead? I've done a redraft for the Titans with the following rules - each pick must be different from the Titans picks, no matter how much I may have liked one or more of them, and each pick must be someone who was actually available at that spot - I wasn't allowed to trade with the...
Titans Sign LB Zac Diles
A few days after drafting Zach Brown to compete for the weak side linebacker spot, the Tennessee Titans have added another Zac to provide some more competition there. Zac Diles, who split last season between Tampa Bay and Indianapolis, has signed with the Titans, according to TitanInsider.com. Diles also spent four years with the Houston Texans where he was coached by current Titans...
Titans Target Kendall Wright
The Tennessee Titans selected wide receiver Kendall Wright with the No. 20 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Spin:
Wright is a gridiron warrior with excellent hands who is dangerous in the open field, and Tennessee did not drop his stock following a poor showing at the NFL Combine. The Titans look to have one of the most explosive offenses in the near future with stud running back...
How might the Titans target their receivers in 2012?
When the Tennessee Titans selected Kendall Wright in the first round of last week's NFL draft, one of the big questions was what kind of role he might play in the offense. To get a handle on that question, and what his acquistion might mean for the Titans' other pass-catchers, I thought it would be a good idea to look at to whom the Titans threw the ball in 2011 and whatthat...
