The Houston Texans were able to pull out another close victory yesterday, but they lost wide receiver Andre Johnson in the process. Johnson exited yesterday’s contest against the Tennessee Titans late with a possible concussion, according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.McClain said after the game that Johnson wasn’t available to speak with reporters because he was undergoing testing to determine whether or not he had suffered a concussion.Andre Johnson wasn't able to do interviews cause of concussion protocol after hit by Bernard Pollard that knocked him out of game.— John McClain (@McClain_on_NFL) September 15, 2013Johnson was injured after being tackled by hard-hitting safety Bernard Pollard. It’s unclear what his status is heading into Week 3, but any absence would be a huge blow to the Texans. Johnson exited the game with eight catches for 76 yards.One bright spot for the Texans was the performance of first-round pick DeAndre Hopkins. The wide receiver stepped up in a big way, hauling in seven of his 13 targets for 117 yards and a touchdown.Houston has been searching for a legitimate No. 2 wide out behind Johnson for some time, and it appears they may have found one.
