Texas A&M Aggies hire Kevin Sumlin as new coach

ESPNDallas.com reports that Texas A&M has hired Houston’s Kevin Sumlin to be their next head coach. It’s hard to imagine a more qualified candidate that could be hired than Sumlin who has guided Houston to national contender status out of Conference USA. In four seasons at Houston Sumlin has a 35-17 record with three bowl appearances including a 12-1 record this season.
