The trade deadline is fast approaching, so the Texas Rangers must decide whether to make a deal or stick with what they have. Trades sometimes work out for both parties — in cases such as Edinson Volquez for Josh Hamilton, or Toby Harrah for Buddy Bell. Usually they don’t.
