The Los Angeles Angels finished second to the Texas Rangers in the American League West a year ago on the strength of one of the best 1-2-3 starting pitching trios in the majors. Jered Weaver would have been a Cy Young Award winner most years, and Dan Haren and Ervin Santana provided strong support.
