Mike Stoops is finally back at Oklahoma.

Mike Stoops has been through one of the more chaotic periods of the Bob Stoops era at Oklahoma, so to say he's settled into his new role as the Sooners defensive coordinator, would be a stretch.

The Oklahoma Sooners failed to live up to preseason expectations in 2011, and by the end of the season had much bigger problems than losing games.
Players were transferring left and right, some on their own will, others asked to by coaches, and blame was being passed all around for reasons behind the disappointing season.

After completing its first two matches of the season, the No. 40 Nebraska (1-1) men's tennis team will travel to Norman, Okla., to take on a former Big 12 foe in the No. 20 Oklahoma Sooners (2-1). The Huskers' match against the Sooners will take place on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at the Gregg Wadley Indoor Tennis Pavilion. First serve is set for 1 p.m.

The 20th-ranked Oklahoma men's tennis squad hosts No. 40 Nebraska on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m., inside the Gregg Wadley Tennis Pavilion. The Sooners (2-1) host five straight dual matches in Norman over the next month. Four of OU's opponents scheduled to visit Norman are currently ranked in the top 40 and one in the top 12, Pepperdine.

Junior Angel Goodrich had arguably one of the highlights of the year at the end of the first half Tuesday night, and junior Monica Engelman's game-tying three-pointer was KU's saving grace to taking the Oklahoma Sooners into overtime.
