Jeff Walz and the Lady Cards will play for a spot in the 2013 Final Four tonight as they take on the Tennessee Lady Vols at 9 PM on ESPN. Less than 48-hours ago the Louisville women’s team shocked the world, knocking off the overall number one seeded Baylor Bears. The win for Louisville is considered to be one of the biggest upsets in college basketball history. Not because Jeff Walz doesn’t have a good team, but Baylor is arguably the best women’s college basketball team of all time. Although getting Baylor out of the tournament increases everyone’s chances at cutting down the nets in New Orleans, the Lady Cards will have another tough task tonight as they take on Tennessee. The Lady Vols are the No. 2 seed in the region and are 27-7 on the year. The Tennessee women’s program has as much tradition as any in the country, but to be frank, the Vols aren’t quite what they used to be.
