The skins win the NFC east with the win over the birds

Posted December 23, 2012

The NFL should hire me. The redskins have allready won the NFC east, and no one is talking about it. Why? Because they don't know. Let me explain, and if I'm missing something obvious please feel free to call me an idiot. The divisonal tie breakers have 11-12 tiers. This scenerio goes to the 4th.

If the skins lose to the cowboys, and giants beat the eagles next week, they will all be 9-7.  The 1st tie breaker for division winner is head to head record. They are all 1-1 against eachother. 2nd tiebreaker is divisonal record where the giants would be removed from this scenerio with their 3-3 record, and skins and cowboys would move on with thier 4-2. 3rd tie breaker is common games, or the record they have of all the same teams they played this year. They would both be 4-4, or 8-6 if you count in the divisonal games. 4th tie breaker is where the skins advance, and why they have allready won the NFC east.... it would go to conference record where the skins would be 7-5 and cowboys would be 6-6.

So in closing, the skins have won the NFC east, and you heard it here first. Someone prove me wrong... because I can't believe I would have gotten this right before the NFL did.

  • The Redskins are 7-5 and the Cowboys are 8-4 against common teams.
  • yeah i saw that after i wrote the damn thing. Yardbarker wouldn't let me delete... oh well. i can't do math
  • LOL even though you are wrong I still think the Redskins will win the division. All they have to do is beat the Cowboys next week.
  • garbage football. The NFL is a joke. The hitting stinks and its a big bore live.
  • Boy, you are just a barrel of fun aren't you?

  • I dont care about either team but i like romorules so Ill give him the nod.

  • It almost seems like hollywood may think that romorules actually is Tony Romo with his comment. He seems to get reality mixed up with thoughts that evolve in his head so I wouldn't be surprised.
  • Not really a surprise at all. Who can forget how quickly he fell to his knees to service the Cryboy cause in his thread on how he always supports the NFC East? Of course he omits the Eagles from that support of the NFC East.
  • I think that forum was shortly before I came to yardbarker but I do remember you and other barkers burying him for it. The sad part is that the only thing I am certain about with hollywood is that he hates Lurie. Hell, he even typed in a comment or two that he thought Reid was Lurie's puppet and only did his bidding and he couldn't blame him for all the moves. We see how he has changed that stance.
  • He's on the keep Vick stance right now. Vick is like one or two games over .500 as the Eagles starting QB and zero seasons without an injury. It's like he wants the Eagles to stay bad. He must be crushed after watching Romo be Romo yesterday.
  • Vick's time has come and gone here. Anyone that thinks Vick should stay after watching him the last 2 years and doesn't want the Eagles to give Foles more of a look has an agenda in my opinion and we know what hollywood's is. Vick has already stated he will not renegtiate and I am thrilled he feels that way. It is probably mainly because he knows that he is not the flat out #1 here and Vick obviously thinks he is still good enough to be a starter in this league but there is NO way the Eagles keep him at 16 million a year (I also doubt they would want to renegotiate with him anyway) so I guess that means goodbye!
  • Yeah holding out hope for Vick to stay is a waste now. Vick wants to be gone.
His decision to not restructure is his departure ticket. That's what funny about Vick's
Dynasty comment. His contract never would have given him the opportunity to
Actually complete it. This was a one or two year push for the title and they failed.
Time to tear it up and move on.
  • Romo on the road with the playoffs on the line.... Yeah, the Skins have already won the division.

  • Good call on that one, Brink. Romo had a chance to be a hero but he is what he is.
  • well.... maybe i can predict the future.

this just in, the cowboys will win 1 more playoff game in the next 15 years, yet they will still state the 5 superbowls they won, back from when nobody gives a F^($ anymore
  • Well now if you desire to see that 5 SB nonsense you will have to choose to look at it yourself. The comment will be below view threshold.
  • nah, i have that joker blocked. She thinks I have multiple ids. I had enough of her nonsense.
