Season 4, Episode 22 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I start by giving our final thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers 20-10 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals Monday night. In addition, we throw around a few more ideas on how to fix the offense moving forward. We update the last roster move and talk a little more about personnel and the outlook of the team moving forward before reading quite a few emails from our listeners. In part two of the show, we are joined by Eric Edholm, who lives in Chicago and writes for the Yahoo! Shutdown Corner blog. Edholm has his finger on the pulse of the Chicago Bears and we preview the upcoming Sunday night game with him as we hit both sides of the football in addition to special teams. As usual, we have our guest give a prediction for the game at the end of the interview and also see how the Bears are from a health standpoint. Make sure to follow Eric on Twitter @Eric_Edholm and read his work online here. As always, a few more t...

The guys in the Black and Gold Uniforms: Not any Steelers I know

Where are “THE” Pittsburgh Steelers? The team that has been on the field in the since the beginning of the 2013 are not the Steelers that NFL fans and NFL teams alike are used to seeing, what is going on? We are in the second season of the Todd Haley era as Offensive Coordinator, and as far as we have all seen there is something terribly wrong. We will take away the injured...

Steelers off to a terrible start with no improvement in sight.

Steelers fans could be in for a long season. The way the team is playing they could lose more than they win this season. The Steelers offense isn’t able to produce the way they once were. Ben Roethlisberger is getting very little protection and with the big play makers missing there is little chance of the Steelers dominating the AFC North the way they have over the years. When...

The veteran Pittsburgh Steelers players have apparently had their meeting following an 0-2 start to the season and as a result, the younger players have a few new rules that they must abide by in the locker room. Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown confronted offensive coordinator Todd Haley about not getting enough balls thrown his way during the second half of Monday night’s 20-10 loss to the Cincinnati

Pittsburgh Steelers: Should the team sign Michael Turner?

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense needs to find a lot of improvements and fast. The Steelers lost to the Cincinatti Bengals 20-10 in week two and it was clear the offense struggled the entire game. The Steelers over the course of two games have only rushed for 75 yards. A pathetic number to say the least. What could help turn this offense and it’s running game around? How about...

Steelers' Haley, Brown content to move on

For the record, Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley said Thursday that there was no sideline confrontation between he and star receiver Antonio Brown Monday night at Cincinnati. There's been speculation that Brown - unhappy with the amount of times passes were thrown in his direction during the first half of the Steelers 20-10 loss to the Bengals - initiated...

The Pittsburgh Steelers ground attack has turned into molten steel and as Chris Wesseling of NFL.com reports, Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin, is burning mad and ready for a change. With rookie running back Le’Veon Bell still sidelined with an ailing foot, RB Isaac Redman has not looked like the answer.  It is not all Redman’s fault, as the Steelers’ offense has collectively...

The Pittsburgh Steelers Wednesday practice was pushed back but is now over and the first injury report of the week has now been released for the Sunday night game against the Chicago Bears. Troy Polamalu is known for his long, flowing hair almost as much as his ferocious play on the football field. But pretty soon, he won’t be as easily identifiable by his hair. Polamalu posted on his Facebook page Thursday that he is planning to cut his hair on Veterans Day in November. We talk about […]

Bears face desperate Steelers team

The Bears’ Week 3 opponent, the Pittsburgh Steelers, are 0-2 for the first time in more than 11 years. Their desperation makes them a dangerous team to face on the road.

Steelers Offense Needs To Wake Up The Echoes Of Hines, Franco And Swann

The Pittsburgh Steelers are easily one of the greatest sports franchises in the world, and with six Super Bowl rings they’ve proven to be the most winning NFL franchise. But with this season’s 0-2 start, things look as dismal as they’ve been in years. This team is looking worst than the Bubby Brister years, but even those teams did reasonably well. This year’s Steelers team...
