This great photo was snapped on Sunday as Marshawn Lynch went beast mode and delivered a brutal stiff arm to a Falcons defender. It’s not too often you hear of a football player getting “posterized” but this snapshot would certainly make one awesome wall decoration.
Here’s a GIF of the stiff arm in action, via SB Nation.

BEST OF MAXIM
Today the Seattle Seahawks made a roster move and it seemed like a huge shocker to Doug Baldwin, who tweeted this: @DougBaldwinJr: “@Seahawks have released WR Bryan Walters and sign DT Michael Brooks to the active roster” Day before the game? At the hotel? “Business” Doug, sorry to tell you, the NFL has been a […]
Russell Wilson threw a pair of touchdown passes, Marshawn Lynch ran for 145 yards and the Seattle Seahawks routed the hapless Atlanta Falcons 33-10 Sunday in a one-sided rematch of last season's NFC divisional playoffs.
After struggling for wins the last two weeks, the first-place Seahawks (9-1) blew out a team that once had Super Bowl hopes but is just two defeats away from...
The Seattle Seahawks released wide receiver Bryan Walters in order to sign practice-squad defensive tackle Michael Brooks to the active roster, the team announced Saturday. With Red Bryant and Jordan Hill sidelined, Brooks was able to get a lot of work in with the Seahawks’ defense this week as they prepare for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. Bryant sustained a concussion in...
After being activated from the PUP list today, Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin plans on playing this week against the Vikings.
With #Seahawks activating WR Percy Harvin, this must be said: He is absolutely planning to play Sunday vs. the #Vikings, his old friends

If things go as planned, Harvin will likely be on a snap count...
Some Things to Love and Hate
Though the Falcons may be having quite the off year in 2013, you could still feel the excitement of the Seattle Seahawks as they prepared for a return trip to Atlanta in the hopes of getting back at the team that eliminated them from last year’s playoffs in heartbreaking fashion.
Yet there was also concern; concern that the dreaded early start on the...

The Seattle Seahawks are looking forward to the return of wide receiver Percy Harvin which could as soon as week eleven.
Percy recently underwent hip surgery in early August forcing the star wide receiver to miss more than half the regular season. Nevertheless, he may have missed a lot of time but Pete Carroll and the Seahawks are looking forward to getting Harvin...
The Seattle Seahawks, after two shaky wins over the Rams and Buccaneers over the last two weeks, put it all together in one of the most complete games of their season, both offensively and defensively dominating the Falcons in their own building in Atlanta and winning 33-10, moving to 9-1 on the season. Russell Wilson and the hawks had over 300 yards of offense before the half...
Percy Harvin was just activated by the best team in the NFL. Yikes.

Seahawks win battle of the birds 33-10
Many things impressed me about the game on Sunday, however one thing stood out above all others in my book. In the Seahawks‘ first two drives of the second half they were able to take an impressive 14:25 off the clock.
That’s right, nearly an entire quarter of the second half was eaten up by the first two Seahawks’ possessions.
ATLANTA Heading into Sunday's game, the Seahawks had successfully been living on the edge for a good chunk of the season.
So, why would Seattle abandon that go-for-broke mentality in a game that was already firmly in hand?
With eight ticks left on the clock and his team holding a 16-3 lead right before halftime, head coach Pete Carroll could have easily instructed kicker Steven...
This time, there was no dramatic ending, no questions left unanswered.
Instead, the Seahawks simply dominated from start to finish as they blew out the Falcons 33-10 Sunday at the Georgia Dome and retrieved a small measure of revenge for Atlanta’s divisional playoff win here last January.
The Seahawks used a big-play offense to score 20 points in the second quarter — their...
The Seattle Seahawks will hit the road on Sunday hoping to take advantage of a battered and under-performing Atlanta Falcons team.
On Sunday the Seahawks (8-1) will be looking for their ninth win of the season as they take on the Falcons. (2-6)
Coverage of the game between the Seahawks and Falcons will air on FOX beginning at 1:00 pm ET from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, GA.
It is no secret that over the past couple of weeks, the Seattle Seahawks have looked like an exposed team despite winning both games by the skin of their teeth, and supporting an 8 – 1 record. Two weeks ago, the Seahawks traveled to face the St. Louis Rams, who had just lost their starting QB Sam Bradford for the rest of the season. Seattle fans, and most everyone else, thought...

With just a month and a half left to secure a playoff berth, no fewer than eleven teams have realistic hopes of making the postseason from the NFC.
Last week, we shook things out in the AFC (though now that list should really just contain the Broncos and Pats). Now it's time to figure out who has the best shot of meeting the AFC champ in the Super Bowl.
From the favorite...
