I’m not a Green Bay Packers fan, but I’ve always respected the franchise. I’ve also always thought the Lambeau Leap was a fantastic tradition that connected the players on the team to the die-hard fans closest to the action on the field.
On Sunday, Donald Driver – easily one of the most likable players in the entire NFL – scored a touchdown with 12:36 remaining in Green Bay’s matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The four-yard touchdown reception made the score 21-12, and the Packers would eventually win the game 24-15.
The above photo was snapped by AP photographer Mike Roemer, and it’s pretty much perfect. Driver is clearly excited to have scored his second touchdown of the season, and the fans in the photo (including the one on the left flashing a little metal) are equally excited.
Just a fantastic sports photo.
Check out more of Roemer’s work here.

It wasn't pretty, but a win is a win for Packers
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- It was an ugly win for the Packers. Or, in Jermichael Finleys words, a real nasty win. It wasnt the type of game that the team will look back on with pride, but Green Bay (now 5-3) hit the midway point of its season with its third consecutive victory.

It’s Time To Unleash Starks
Running back James Starks has only six carries in the past three games
While Alex Green has averaged a pathetic 2.4 yards per carry in the past three games, a now healthy James Starks has carried the ball a total of six times. GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers insisted they didn't take the downtrodden Jacksonville Jaguars lightly.
