The Bengals secondary could be even more strained on Sunday after cornerback Nate Clements showed up on Thursday’s practice report as limited due to a hamstring injury. Clements did not practice on Wednesday due to a non-injury related reason, but he has not been practicing on Wednesday the past couple weeks anyway. Depending on Clements’ health, Brandon Ghee could see playing time at corner. Since being signed to the 53-man roster after Leon Hall’s season-ending Achilles injury, Ghee has been used on special teams but was also limited in practice due to a groin injury. Also listed as limited were safety Chris Crocker (biceps), tight end Donald Lee (foot), wide receiver Jerome Simpson (knee) and defensive tackle Pat Sims (ankle). BENSON, DUNLAP AND PEKO SIT: Running back Cedric Benson (foot), defensive end Carlos Dunlap (hamstring) and defensive tackle Domata Peko (foot) missed a second straight day of practice. Of the three, Dunlap remains the most likely to miss Sunday’s game whic...

Bengals DT Domata Bengals Peko, DE Carlos Dunlap Remain Sidelined At Practice

Bengals DT Domata Peko (foot) and LB Carlos Dunlap (hamstring) all missed practice Thursday, the second in a row for each of them as they prepare to take on the Steelers in Pittsburgh in Week 13. Peko is the focal point of the Bengals strong rush defense. He missed Wednesday and Thursday practice last week, but still suited up in the Bengals 23-20 win over Cleveland in Week 12. Dunlap...

Bonus ridiculous video of the day: Terrell Owens awkwardly working out on a baseball field

I feel a little dirty posting this. I really do. But it had the word Patriots in it, and I couldn’t resist. Because it’s so ridiculous. TMZ caught former/kinda/still WR Terrell Owens working out on a dirt baseball field somewhere, dropping passes, hitting on a girl, and trying to recover from an ACL tear. The “report” says he’s hoping to have a playoff...

Wednesday notes: Gruden talks future, injuries, Big Ben on Dalton

With Jack Del Rio fired as the Jaguars head coach on Tuesday, there have been some early names who have surfaced as candidates including Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden. With Gruden’s longtime ties in North Florida — he lived in Orlando for over 13 years and coached the Arena Football and UFL teams there — along with the success of the Bengals offense this...

Terrell Owens -- P-P-Playoffs?? You're Talking Playoffs?

Terrell Owens has the second most TD receptions in NFL history ... but he's not too big to practice on a crappy field in Studio City, CA -- with a QB who can hardly throw (no, not Donovan McNabb). T.O.'s still staying in shape because there are rumblings… Permalink
