The Tigers dropped another one this afternoon falling to the Toronto Blue Jays 8-3 in the series opening from the Rogers Centre. Despite missing four regulars the Jays jumped on Tigers starter Jose Alvarez early tagging him for four runs in the third inning effectively ending his day. With the loss the Tigers have now dropped 6 of 7 and 9 of 13 according to play by play man Dan Dickerson since climbing a season high 10 games above the .500 mark. They’ve also lost their grip on first place in the AL Central to the Cleveland Indians. #Tigers have now lost 6 of 7, 9 of 13 since climbing season high 10G over .500 at 39-29.
