Found August 22, 2013 on Jocks and Stiletto Jill:
PLAYERS: Tim Duncan
TEAMS: San Antonio Spurs
In a secret hearing, the divorce between San Antonio Spurs star Tim Duncan and his now ex-wife Amy has been finalized. The hearing was held during Judge David A. Canales lunch hour at the offices of Tim Duncan’s lawyer’s office. It also wasn’t placed on the public docket because both parties had “paparazzi” concerns. Really, let me find out San Antonio is like West Hollywood with tons of paps and TMZ cameras. A breakdown on division of assests and child custody has not been released but there was a document during the proceedings that requested an alleged trainer and business partner of Amy Duncan, Gilbert R. Urbano Jr. be barred from being “around the children at any time or at any place, including permitting him to be in the same house or work establishment or school or social function as the children, whether the children are asleep or awake.” Tim hired a private investigator to check up on Amy’s relationship with Urbano whom she recently opened a Crossfit training facility tog...

Spurs big man Matt Bonner eats baby carrots like a boss (Video)

San Antonio Spurs forward/center Matt Bonner doesn't get many as opportunities to be in a television commercial as other NBA players. That means when an offer comes Bonner's way, he's probably not going to pass on the chance to make some extra cash, even if he makes himself look a bit silly in the process. Case in point: Bonner has the starring role in a rap video...

Kobe Bryant recently made an interesting offhand comment when he said that Tracy McGrady was the toughest player he’s ever had to guard. Well, it appears that the feeling is mutual. Spurs’ Matt Bonner stars in new rap video commercial for healthy snack

Not often are you going to see an NBA player in a commercial, eating baby carrots, while his name is rapped in a video promoting a new healthy snack.  Seems like the ShakeDowns marketing group does a great job thinking outside of the box to get you to remember their commercials.  Hopefully they didn’t pay the Spurs’ Matt Bonner too much for this since he didn’t do anything. Matt Bonner Stars In The Best Commercial For Baby Carrots You’ve Ever Seen

If you’re a white guy with red hair in the NBA, you’d better have a decent sense of humor if you want to market yourself. Brian Scalabrine did and he became something of legends, and Spurs big man Matt Bonner – aka the “Red Mamba” – does as well. Watch Bonner try to sell you baby carrots using some thuggin’ beats and a crew that includes a black belt-wearing Jason Mraz...

Between off season workouts, regular season games and playoff games the NBA can be a long grind especially when you’re 35 years old like San Antonio Spurs Manu Ginobili. Ginobili had an interview with La Nacion, an Argentinean publication, (go to Pounding the Rock for translated version) and talked about how broken down he was by the end of the season. So much so that he thought...
