New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow was so frustrated when the starting job was conferred upon Greg McElroy early last week that he told the coaches he didn’t want to be used in any Wildcat packages Sunday against the San Diego Chargers, multiple Jets sources told ESPNNewYork.com. Tebow was active, but did not play in the 27-17 loss at MetLife Stadium. In Tebow’s absence, wide receiver Jeremy Kerley — a former high school quarterback — ran the plays for the first time all season. The Wildcat has been Tebow’s package, and was the reason Jets coach Rex Ryan and offensive coordinator Tony Sparano said he was brought to New York.
When are we finally going to realize what this spoiled brat is? Did God tell him to be left out of the wildcat package? Give me a break. Tim Tebow is becoming more and more unlikeable as it goes on. Tebow is a virgin and he doesn’t curse. He also has one of the biggest egos in the NFL. He’s a terrible quarterback and should feel blessed by God he’s on an NFL roster. I know everything I need to know about Tebow after this move. Guy is a spoiled brat. Go do another shirtless ad, it’s what God would want of you you cheesedick.

There is a reason that Super Bowl Champs aren’t getting much attention, even though they are in the midst of wasting a three-game lead in their division by losing six of eight in the second hand of the season. The New York Jets are taking all the attention away from them, much like they did [...]
It doesnt take a perfect Wunderlic score to comprehend Tim Tebows time with the New York Jets is winding down.
What initially seemed to be a bold move to add a new offensive dimension with Tebow not to mention increased publicity in the same town as the defending Super Bowl champion Giants contributed largely to creating a dysfunctional atmosphere that helped produce an embarrassing...

I thought maybe, perhaps, I would have a year off of dealing with Tebow mania. In case you did not have enough of it last season, it has returned again this year. First the New York Jets came out to say that they will look to shop...
According to ESPNNewYork.com, New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow was so frustrated that Greg McElroy was named the starter instead of him that he told the coaches to take him out of their wildcat package.

It is being reported that it is a “virtual certainty” that the New York Jets will grant Tim Tebow his outright release following the 2012 NFL season, allowing him to join the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2013. But while Tebow would certainly improve ticket sales for the lowly Jags, he may not help them in the win-loss category one bit.
Tebow is a cult phenomenon. He is an icon in...

There has been speculation that Tim Tebow would have to switch positions in order to continue his NFL career, but that might not be the case. ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports it’s highly likely that Tebow signs with the Jacksonville Jaguars to compete for their starting quarterback job.
Mortensen reported prior to Saturday’s Falcons-Lions game that it’s a “virtual certainty”...
Tom Brady led a comeback win over the Jaguars while the Miami Dolphins, fueled by what were very slim (now non-existent) playoff hopes, gave the Bills and Jets a lesson in fighting to the end. Meanwhile, Ebenezer Ryan ruined Tiny Tim Tebow's Christmas.
New York Jets coach Rex Ryan on Monday responded to a report that backup quarterback Tim Tebow asked not to be used in any Wildcat packages in Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers. Tebow was active, but did not play in the 27-17 loss to the Chargers. "I'm not going to get into private conversations that I have with players," Ryan said. "But it was...
If it wasn’t bad enough for Tim Tebow who was overlooked by Rex Ryan for Greg McElroy, he also had to watch Jeremy Kerley play wildcat for the New York Jets.
Tebow, who is fully healty, had to watch as Kerley played in the Wildcat, took a direct snap and threw a 42-yard completion to Clyde Gates to set up the Jets’ first touchdown. With that one pass, Kerley eclipsed Tebow’s...
ESPN NFL analyst Merril Hoge has been one of the most vocal Tim Tebow detractors since the former Heisman Trophy winner entered the NFL, and he laid into the Jets quarterback on Monday in response to the report that Tebow asked out of the Wildcat package.
During “SportsCenter” on Monday, Hoge was part of a roundtable discussion that included Adam Schefter and Ron Jaworski. After...

The Jets deserved this. This 27-17 loss to the Chargers was Woody Johnson, Rex Ryan and Mike Tannenbaum’s reward for having no plan at all on offense, acquiring Tim Tebow, and failing to improve the Jets skill positions during the offseason. This week’s No Huddle is brought to you by, the Jets offensive line.
Greg McElroy was sacked 11 times. In one game. Keep in...
