The Tennessee Titans are giving Deuce Lutui his first snaps this season Sunday against the Chicago Bears, starting the veteran at right guard with Leroy Harris out with an injured right knee.
The Titans already had declared Harris out earlier in the week after he hurt the knee hurt in last Sunday's loss to the Colts. The Titans also deactivated quarterback Jake Locker for a fifth straight game with linebacker Patrick Bailey, offensive tackle Byron Stingily, receiver Lavelle Hawkins, linebacker Will Witherspoon and defensive tackle DaJohn Harris also inactive.
Bears inactives are receiver Alshon Jeffery (right hand), receiver Dane Sanzenbacher, offensive lineman Edwin Williams, defensive tackles Amobi Okoye and Matt Toeaina, tight end Brody Eldridge and end Cheta Ozougwu.

Titans owner rips team's performance
Following a 51-20 loss to the Bears, Bud Adams thrashed the team's effort, saying the Titans "were grossly outcoached and outplayed from start to finish today."
Titans rookie WR Kendall Wright hurts right elbow
Titans rookie receiver Kendall Wright has hurt his right elbow in the third quarter against Chicago.
Wright walked to the sideline with about 12 minutes left in the quarter after Chris Johnson ran for 10 yards, holding his arm at his side. He was tended to by a doctor on the sideline before walking to the locker room. The team said his return is questionable.

Coach understands Titans' owner being unhappy
The Tennessee Titans now have plenty of motivation to play better. Owner Bud Adams has made sure of that.
The owner plans to evaluate everyone from the front office to the coaches to the players over the final seven games after the Titans lost 51-20 to Chicago, the most points allowed since a 59-0 loss to New England in 2009.
"In my 50 years of owning an NFL franchise, I am...
Chris Johnson Runs Wild Against Bears
Titans running back Chris Johnson went wild Sunday against the Chicago. He finished the day with 141 yards and a touchdown on just 16 carries.Fantasy Spin:Johnson did lose a couple of fumbles but getting to 141 yards against the Bears' stout run defense is still an impressive feat, even if 80 of said yards came on one play in the fourth quarter.
NFL Pick ‘Em vs. A Hot Chick Week Nine: Tennessee Titans Cheerleader Jena
Finally, a week where we didn’t lose to a hot chick. Not to say we’re happy about our 2-3 record, but at least week eight ended in a tie. This week we’re going up against Tennessee Titans cheerleader Jena in what promises to be another barn-burner. The first time we went against a Titans cheerleader, Molly made us look silly after she finished the week 4-1. Let’s hope we...
NFL Midseason Report Card: Tennessee Titans
Before the season started, I took some heat in the comments section of my predictions article about how I thought the Titans would be little better than a dumpster fire this season. With the way the season started, it appeared I could be right. Other than a game that should have gotten both defensive coordinators fired against the Detroit Lions, the Titans could have started the...
Bud Adams Blasts Titans for Embarrassing Loss, Says Team Was 'Grossly Outcoached and Outplayed'
The Tennessee Titans were an absolute mess on Sunday afternoon at home against the Chicago Bears. Thanks to a plethora of turnovers and an opportunistic Bears team, the Titans saw themselves trailing 28-2 -- after the first quarter.
The Titans ended up falling to the Bears 51-20, falling to 3-6 and third place in the AFC South in the process.
The embarrassing...

Titans Organization Put On Notice Following Blowout Loss
Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams seemed to have taken Sunday’s 51-20 home loss to the Chicago Bears pretty hard. So hard in fact, that he told reporters following the game that the entire organization will be “closely evaluated” over the remainder of the season.
“In my 50 years of owning an NFL franchise, I am at a loss to recall a regular-season home game that was such a...
Titans QB Jake Locker's Shoulder Is Nearly Healed
Titans quarterback Jake Locker is nearing a return to health with his injured left (non-throwing) shoulder and could be able to play again fairly soon, Terry McCormick of Titaninsider reports citing a source.
Locker, who has been out since Week 4 in Houston, is nearly healed from the fractured bone in his shoulder that came about once the shoulder was dislocated for the second...
Turnovers, special teams lead Bears to blowout over Titans
It started ugly, with a fumble by Kenny Britt on the first play. It got a little bit better, as the Bears became the first team not to score against the Titans on their first and second possessions. Then, the Titans had the ball again. Brett Kern had his punt blocked and returned for a score. The Titans got a safety the next possession, but were forced to punt, a punt Devin Hester...

Week Nine NFL Game Preview: Chicago Bears @ Tennessee Titans
The Chicago Bears (6-1) and the Tennessee Titans (3-5) will meet for the 11th time ever on Sunday afternoon.
The all-time series is tied 5-5. The Titans beat the Bears 21-14 the last time these two teams squared off in 2008.
This is only the second time the Bears will take on the Titans at LP Field. QB Craig Krenzel was under center the last time the Bears traveled to Tennessee...
The Numbers Behind the Bear’s Domination of the Titans
Lovie Smith’s message to the team this week was to “have a fast start”. They clearly got the memo.
In 2000, the Tennessee Titans pulled off the famous “Music City Miracle”. In 2012, the Bears stormed into Nashville and put on a performance that from this day forth should be known as the “Music City Massacre” (I’m trademarking this).
If they hadn’t done so already...
