Terrell Owens says he is ''no longer'' a member of the Seattle Seahawks. The 38-year-old wide receiver posted the news on his Twitter account. ''I'm no longer a Seahawk. I THANK the organization 4 the opportunity, I'm truly blessed beyond belief. My FAITH is intact & will NOT waiver.'' Owens signed a one-year deal with Seattle earlier this month, just days before the first preseason game. He played the second and third preseason games for Seattle, but caught only one pass. Owens did not play in the NFL last season. He has started 201 of the 219 regular-season NFL games he has played. He has 1,078 receptions for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns - the second most in league history.

Addressing The Seattle Seahawks Pressing Roster Situation

The Seattle Seahawks signed diva wide receiver Terrell Owens to a one-year deal recently. With T.O. on the team, the Seahawks have made one of three necessary moves for success in 2012. Now Seattle needs to simply reach out to freshly-available Chad Johnson and throw a feeler out to free agent Plaxico Burress to establish itself as the frontrunner for the 2013 edition of Hard Knocks...

Seattle Seahawks May Keep Braylon Edwards Or Terrell Owens, But Likely Not Both

The Seattle Seahawks decided this past offseason that they had a wide receiving corps that was not exactly up to the standards of the rest of the National Football League. Not even if the watered down NFC West. Seattle went forward and cut Mike Williams, who had been one of their better receivers a couple of seasons ago. That left them with Ben Obomanu and Deon Butler atop the team’s...

The Seattle Seahawks signed Antonio Bryant, Braylon Edwards and Terrell Owens in an effort to find a big, veteran receiver to replace the released Mike Williams. But don't expect head coach Pete Carroll to pick up the phone and see if Chad Johnson wants to come to the Pacific Northwest. Johnson was released by the Dolphins the day after being arrested following an argument...

Final Public Practice – Observations

Notable Points Judging from this practice alone, Matt Flynn is the clear-cut favorite to start in week 1 of the regular season. Flynn, as advertised, showed crispness in his mechanics and his accuracy was top-notch, (only 3 incompletions during the entire practice). He often checked down short passes rather than airing it out deep, but did flash his arm on several occasions as...
