The No. 14 and top-seeded New Mexico Lobos went on an epic offensive lull against Wyoming on Wednesday night in the 2013 Mountain West Conference Tournament. But as they’ve done all season, UNM turned up the defense and that – as well as the Lobos’ rabid fan following – was the difference as New Mexico prevailed 59-46 in the quarterfinal game at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
