In the southwest of the United States, popular Mexican heavyweight Andy Ruiz has been making a name for himself, and has been growing his fan base. The undefeated fighter has built his record to 17-0 with 11 KOs, and while he hasn't yet stepped up to world class opposition, he's hoping that 2013 is a big year for him to stay active and raise the level of competition. Right here, you can take a look at a video of Ruiz in the gym and get to know the fighter a bit. Ruiz will be fighting again on March 16 in Carson, California, on the undercard of the Timothy Bradley vs. Ruslan Provodnikov fight. It'll be a good chance for him to have a showcase in front of a large audience. Presumably, we'll be hearing more from Ruiz in the coming years. Let's see how far he can take himself and whether or not he has real world title aspirations in him.
