Found March 27, 2012 on Reds Minor Leagues:
Here is how the prospects performed in the game Monday night: Billy Hamilton scored a run as a pinch runner. Todd Frazier went 0-4. Danny Dorn went 0-2. Ryan LaMarre went 0-2. Daryl Jones went 1-3. Nick Christiani allowed a run on 2 hits and 2 walks in 1 inning of work. Travis Webb threw a perfect inning of work with a strikeout. Also within that game Jeff Francis got pounded. He is in the running for the final spot or two open on the pitching staff, but his recent struggle may have opened up someone else to the conversation. The Reds played the game at the Rangers stadium, who has Pitch F/X cameras running during spring training. Nick Christiani’s fastball sat 89-93 MPH during his stint. Travis Webb sat 88-90 in his handful of fastballs he threw during his outing. So, question of the day: What would you do with Aroldis Chapman to begin the season? Discuss.
