If the Steelers need to do one thing against the Denver Broncos on Sunday it is make them turn the ball over.  The Broncos are a ball control offense.  They run, run and run some more.  They try and take you out of the game by keeping the ball away from you.  The Steelers are going to need to get to the ball and get it loose.  Whether it is a fumble or an interception that does not matter.  Just get the ball back for the offense. Since Tim Tebow took over for Denver they are 7-4.  In the Broncos 7 wins they are plus four in the turnover battle.  They keep the ball and they run the clock.  They score just enough to win and do not give you enough time to beat them.  Tebow has only thrown 1 interception in that span.  He protects the ball. When they lose though that is a whole different story.  Tebow has thrown 5 interceptions in the four losses.  The team has also had a fumbling issue in those games.  They are negative 10 in the turnover battle.  That is 2.5 turnovers a game.  The Broncos are 1-6 this season when losing the turnover battle.  If they can not keep the ball away from you then they can not score enough to win. In the last three games in which Denver is 0-3 the Broncos have committed 9 turnovers.  They are -7 in turnover differential during those 3 games.  They have given up over 40 points in two of those 3 games.  Against Buffalo and New England Tebow struggled to keep the ball.  He fumbled twice against New England giving up a10 point lead only to lose by 18.  In the next game against Buffalo Tebow fumbled twice again.  This time though he also threw 3 interceptions.  The Bills ran two of those turnovers back for touchdowns.  Defensive scores are a killer for any team. So if the Steelers want to key on one thing against Denver it would be turnovers.  Hold up the back and strip the ball.  Put pressure on Tebow and force him to throw interceptions.  If the Steelers can do that they will be well on their way to victory.
