A.B. Boston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask says the TD Garden ice was ************ on live TV after game 3 of the Stanley Cup finals against the Chicago Blackhawks. But after saving all 28 shots to post his third shutout of the 2013 NHL playoffs, I’m pretty sure he gets a pass. Especially in Boston where we encourage profanity.

The Unsung Hereos

Brent Bailey 06/16/2013   The Year of the Unsung Hero               When it comes to sports during the playoffs, there will always be a player(s) that will step up in big moments. Most teams have one or two players who are the superstars of the team, and always seem to be the hero. Grand Theft Bruins. BRUINS WIN!

What a game. Again. The Bruins should've won Game 1 but blew it. They played like crap for the vast majority of Game 2 but Rask bailed them out. SCF Winner - It May Come Down To Survival Skills

from Rick Morrissey of the Chicago Sun-Times, Neither team wants you to feel sorry for it. In fact, both teams would prefer not to discuss it. Getting an NHL player to talk about his physical state is like getting a rogue state to talk about labor camps. Part of the code is to not complain about aches and pains, especially this time of year, when the rallying cry is to play...

The evolution of Danny Paille

The NHL is one of the few sports that rewards an entire playoff MVP at the end of the Finals. If the Boston Bruins were to win the Stanley Cup, it would likely be awarded to their goalie Tuukka Rask who has been incredible throughout the entire post-season. Without him, the Boston Bruins are not two wins away from capturing their second Stanley Cup in three years. If the NHL were...
