Everyone walking on this side of the sanity line expected Chan Sung Jung (pictured) to be an underdog against featherweight king Jose Aldo at UFC 163, but dang, the “The Korean Zombie” will be quite the dark horse entering the Octagon this Saturday in Brazil.
Aldo is a whopping 8-to-1 odds-on favorite to retain his crown against the late replacement. Jung, meanwhile, checks in as a 5-to-1 ‘dog.
Aldo was originally slated to defend his throne against Anthony Pettis until a knee injury forced “Showtime” out of the highly-anticipated shootout.
HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro hosts the festivities.
