Bellator MMA is no longer in the women’s mixed martial arts business, but the UFC has no qualms with picking up one of their best castoffs. On this week’s edition of “UFC Tonight,” it was announced Jessica Eye (pictured) has inked a multi-fight deal to join the planet’s premier MMA promotion.
Eye owns an impressive 10-1 professional record, with seven of her wins coming by way of decision. “Evil” was last seen posting a decision victory over Carina Damm in June.
The UFC is wasting no time in issuing Eye her first assignment. Although no fight date has been set, the organization is reportedly looking for Eye to make her big league debut against Sarah Kaufman.
According to the rumor mill, the bantamweight battle could go down at UFC 166.
