By now you likely know that UM's spring game is at April 14 at Sun Life Stadium. Nice to know that the Canes don't have to compete with the Marlins anymore to play in their own stadium. UM released the other two scrimmage dates as well. The Canes will play their first scrimmage on March 24th "in South Florida'' according to a UM release. The Canes are thinking Miami-Dade County, but I'll let you know the location as soon as they let us know. The Canes will play their second scrimmage in the Fort Myers area on the Southwest Coast of Florida on the evening of March 30. No times have been released for any of the scrimmages, though the spring game is usually earlier in the day. All three scrimmages are free and open to the public. The UM release says that "High school coaches, prospective student-athletes and former football players are invited to attend ALL spring football practices.'' Fans? Nope.
