Found July 19, 2012 on Race Review Online:

PutnamvilleTonight was supposed to be the fifth race out of seven in the 2012 version of Indiana Sprint Week. Unfortunately, rain swept through Indiana this evening and the race at Putnamville was postponed to Sunday.

What's good for at least for the fans of Putnamville was first, the rain was desperately needed in the state of Indiana, and second, they now will host the finale of the 25th annual classic.

Levi Jones is currently leading the points standings for this year's Indiana Sprint Week by 23 points over second place Jon Stanbrough. However, Stanbrough is leading the national AMSOIL USAC Sprint Series points standings by a mere three points over Jones.

The series returns to action tomorrow night at the small dirt track in Bloomington, Indiana. They will go to Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana on Saturday night before the finale of Indiana Sprint Week at Putnamville on Sunday.

The weather looks good for the weekend so we will definitely see a champion crowned Sunday.
