One of the most prestigious amateur competitions in golf is featured this week with coverage of the final two rounds of the U.S. Junior Amateur. This year's championship will be staged at the Tom Fazio designed Martis Camp course located just north of Lake Tahoe in Northern California. It is said that this may be the most difficult championship to win because of the age restriction (17 or younger) which limits the number of times a golfer can participate and the deep talent of the players that qualify. The list of previous champions includes Johnny Miller, David Duval, Tiger Woods, Hunter Mahan and Jordan Spieth to name a few. Woods, who won three times, and Spieth, who won twice, are the only players in this events 65-year history to win the championship more than once. Last year's event featured the largest comeback in U.S. Junior Amateur history when eventual champion, Andy Hyeon Bo Shim came from five back to defeat 2010 champion Jim Liu. Broadcasters rip Tiger for swearing on camera

Tiger Woods was making a run at the lead of The Open Championship during the third round and he was caught on camera cursing.  It was only a “God damnit,” so not as severe as it could have been, but the announcers didn’t hold back from judging him.  Clearly they thought that he should know better not to swear because there are always microphones on him, but in Tiger’s defense...

Mickelson wins The Open Championship

Phil Mickelson won The Open Championship on Sunday for the first time in his career with an incredible final round. See how he did it.

Stop Asking When Tiger Woods Will Be Back & Just Accept Him for Who He Is

Tiger Woods is still the best golfer in the world. The only difference is the gap between him and the rest of the world is a lot smaller. Fans are nostalgic, they want to remember their favorite players at their best and even when they falter, they hope and pray that their “perfect player” comes back. The reality is that doesn’t happen. Father time is undefeated, doesn’t...

Tiger's major agony in one graphic

Tiger Woods fizzled out of contention Sunday at the British Open, struggling at the start of his final round and never recovering. The event marked five years since the 2008 British Open, in which Tiger did not play due to injury and was the first in what is now a stretch of 21 majors (he's only played in 17 of them) without a victory. It's an unprecedented stretch of woe...

Tiger Woods goes off

Oh how the mighty have fallen. That's not even that bad of a golf shot.

Well, we're pretty sure we know which golfer this group of grown men dressed up as tigers are cheering for at the 2013 British Open.

Guy offers Tiger Woods a beer at British Open

Everything Tiger Woods suddenly becomes a big deal. A guy offered Tiger Woods a beer at the British Open. It does not appear that Woods heard him or simply does not care. Sorry guy, invitation denied. And while you did not offer us a beer we are not interested either. Currently Woods is chasing down Lee Westwood for the title.

God Damn It, F*ck: Tiger Wood just doesn't care

Column: Is it finally Tiger's turn at British?

(Eds: With AP Photos.) By TIM DAHLBERG AP Sports Columnist Tiger Woods was actually having a pretty good day, though the fans lining the seventh hole might have thought otherwise. They had the misfortune of having to listen as he unleashed a string of loud expletives directed at himself and a ball that bounced over the green into the rough. Hardly the way a gentleman golfer at the...

Tiger misses plenty of opportunities

Tiger Woods took the lead at the 142nd Open championship, but instead of doing what he used to and stepping on throats, he stepped on his own shoelaces.

Tiger's major drought hits 17

Tiger Woods has four victories in 2013, yet his season is being scrutinized for its three losses - the Masters, the US Open and now the Open Championship. Woods has always defined his success by major championship victories, aiming for Jack Nicklaus' record of 18 since he was a young boy staring at a poster of Nicklaus in his room. Yet, after a 3-over 74 that never really saw...

Tiger Woods two shots back of leader Westwood at British Open

Tiger Woods is just two shots back from Open Championship leader Lee Westwood heading into Sunday’s final at Muirfield. Westwood finished Saturday at 1-under putting him two strokes ahead of Hunter Mahan and Woods. Westwood will play in the final group with Mahan, while Woods

The Curse of the Bimbino bites Tiger

In the wake of his latest weekend choke job -- a piss-poor performance in Sunday's final round of the British Open -- I'm done overthinking Tiger Woods. This is Karma. Bad Karma. This is "The Curse of the Bimbino." Tiger won't get 86 years to overcome it. I won't live long enough to write, "Now I Can Die in Peace II: How FOX Sports' Big Sexy Found...
