USL PRO: Region 3 pairing ready for final square off at Florida Citrus Bowl

So, it's finally been finalised.

The final match of the USL PRO season will be played at Orlando's Florida Citrus Bowl after they defeated Charleston Battery in Friday nights semi final by the score of 3-2; Charlotte defeated regular season winners Richmond Kickers 2-1 in order to grab the other final spot and with that victory, the hosting rights for the final match next weekend went to Orlando.

A couple of great matches over the past two nights saw just under 9'000 attend Friday nights game and 2'500 at Saturdays game in Richmond.

Charleston almost grabbed something from their game against the Lions after a dismal start to the game saw them three goals down after only 19 minutes but they struck back in the second half with two of their own but the home side held out to grab a spot in the final.

Charlotte had to come from behind to overcome a dogged Richmond side and their two goals in the opening half were enough to see them grab that most important second spot for the final match next weekend.

We fully expect a record breaking crowd for the final game and we will watch to see who will crowned as 2013 USL PRO Championship Winners.
