Found September 10, 2013 on Puck Drunk Love:
Evgeni Malkin might have a strong future as a delivery man after his hockey career wraps up. The Penguins called on their star to help deliver tickets to season ticket holders ahead of the 2013-14 season.  Aside from delivering tickets, Malkin posed for pictures, spoke with fans and even expressed his love for Turkey.  These types of videos are awesome. It's always interesting seeing what a player's personality is like away from the rink. Malkin's English might not be the best, but it's clear his personality is friendly and fun.  [follow]

Evgeni Malkin Delivers Season Tickets: Must Watch

Class Geno. Perhaps one of the most charismatic athletes currently in Pittsburgh. Our condolences to those that had to settle for Harry Z and Tanner Glass delivering season tickets.

Will Simon Despres and Beau Bennett Play The Roles They Should This Coming Season? by @MadChad412

[Beau Bennett, is going to certainly, I think, be a guy that would look to be in the top-six forwards next year in our group," - - Pittsburgh Penguins' coach Dan Bylsma  That was a quote from Bylsma during his press conference this summer, after his contract was extended as head coach of the Penguins. There's certainly a lot of irony in that statement. ...

Top Fights of the 2013 Penguins Season by @evil_shero

Fighting in hockey is not going away. Year after year, people try to bring it up as a controversial topic and every year the players overwhelmingly remain in favor of it staying a part of the game. Personally, if the people play the game want it there, keep it there.  This post isn't about weighing the morality or utility of fighting in hockey its about enjoying the best this...

Steadfast Penguins eager to get started

The Pittsburgh Penguins headed back to work on Wednesday, reporting for training camp just three months removed from a painful loss to Boston in the Eastern Conference finals. The Penguins return the core of a team that finished with the best record in the East during a lockout-shortened season. Coach Dan Bylsma received a contract extension in the offseason. Evgeni Malkin, Kris...

Penguins History: The Pests

The Penguins have employed their share of pests—the thorn-in-the-side guys who make a living out of getting under the oppositions’ skin. Here are my top six: 1. Bryan Watson (1969-74) Watson wasn’t nicknamed “Bugsy” and “Superpest” for nothing. Like his partner in crime, Glen Sather, the tough little defender excelled at getting under the opposition’s skin. Unlike...

Sidney Crosby Thinks Zdeno Chara’s Punch ‘Crossed the Line,’ Saw It as Attempt to Shut Him Down

Sidney Crosby has more focus on him than any other player in the NHL, so it makes sense that just about every story having to do with Crosby gets overblown. His interaction with Zdeno Chara in the Eastern Conference finals is no different. It’s a story that won’t go away, and with Crosby and a host of NHL stars making the media rounds last week, it was bound to come up again...

having too many feelings is bad for your body: a brief pittsburgh penguins season preview

Yeah, so, we've been really silent. We read THIS at the Pensblog this morning and of course, we agree somewhat.  For awhile, we couldn't tell if our disillusionment with the Pens was the result of just our imploding lives swirling into the vortex, separating us so painfully from hockey and all of the flowery, dizzying pursuits of youth.  (Right, we're 23 and 25 now...

It's Been Worse by @Nick422

By all accounts the Penguins season, from roughly very late May until now, has been a mess.  Swept in a very inglorious fashion, a draft that featured few picks due to the deadline deals which worked well at first then bombed, and a free agency period featuring a lot of question marks. While it hasn't been good, it's been much much worse. (Getty Images) Go...

Being a Hockey Fan by Guest Blogger @brumistheshow

Hi, my name is Justin, but everyone calls me Brum. I have a confession to make, while I have always "liked" the Pittsburgh Penguins and the NHL, I can't say that I've always been a "fan". (Now, now, put down the pitchforks, and please don't hit that unfollow button just yet.)I say this in jest, but a lot of people in the pens nation tend to look down...
