PLAYERS: Orlando Salido
Undefeated Mikey Garcia is back on January 19th, as he finally challenges for a world title by taking on the tough veteran Orlando Salido. Garcia has been hard at work, training with brother Robert Garcia. Right here, Robert speaks with Top Rank's Crystina Poncher about Mikey, his training, his previous experience and more. Robert acknowledges that Mikey hasn't faced the same kind of competition that Salido has. They know it's going to be a tough fight, but they're prepared for it. Mikey also speaks with Poncher, and he's excited for the opportunity, he feels as if he has earned this title challenge as opposed to other people, and that if he just does what he knows how to do, then he'll come out ahead and with that championship belt. Enjoy the interviews with Mikey and Robert Garcia and keep on checking back with us over the next 10 days or so for more updates on Garcia vs. Salido and the entire Top Rank promoted HBO-televised event from MSG on the 19th.
