On November 15, 2011, NBC’s “Today” aired a video clip from an interview between Bob Costas and Jerry Sandusky.
During the interview, Sandusky said to Costas:
“I didn’t go around seeking out every young person for sexual needs that I’ve helped. There are many (children) I didn’t have — I hardly had any contact with.”
For whatever reason the Sandusky remark, which came off as an attempted confession, did not air during excerpted video clips from the same interview the evening before on MSNBC’s “Rock Center.” (Nov. 14, 2011.)
Remember that Rock Center interview Jerry Sandusky did with Bob Costas back in November? Remember how Sandusky creepily said things to Costas like “I enjoy young people”? Remember how it took Sandusky more than 16 seconds to answer a direct question about whether he’s “sexually attracted to young boys”? The interview—well, at least the segment that aired on the night...
Last November, Jerry Sandusky conducted an interview with Bob Costas of NBC that aired on “Rock Center.” Apparently NBC only chose to play a selection of the interview for its audience, because we’re just learning that Sandusky may have made somewhat of an admission of guilt while answering a question.
Sandusky had been talking about his involvement in The Second Mile charity...
Two new components in the Jerry Sandusky trial were released today. As it turns out the Bob Costas interview with Jerry Sandusky on NBC was not live, and the prosecution has asked for a tape, which includes unaired damning answers.

At the conclusion of yesterdays U.S. Open tournament we were bracing ourselves for another dull, by the books, Bob Costas interview with champion Webb Simpson. Things were going according to plan until one of BC’s new favorite superfans slipped on-screen and made what appeared to be an exotic bird call. The guy was on screen for about three seconds until security escorted him...

Enjoy the jail cell, pal.

We saw one of the more awkward post event interviews after the finish of yesterday’s US Open. As the video clearly shows, a fellow, wearing a British flag tuque and windbreaker jumped into the frame and starting making bird-like noises as NBC’s Bob Costas was interviewing US Open champion, Webb Simpson. He was quickly pulled [...]
Jerry Sandusky is set to take the stand this week, as his defense team gets set to present its case in a Pennsylvania courtroom. The defense is taking a risk sending the former Penn State defensive coordinator, who is being accused of child sexual abuse, and things could get even dicier if the prosecution calls upon some unaired comments from Sandusky. According to MSNBC.com, the...
For those of you who do not know, golfer Webb Simpson won the 2012 U.S. Open making it his first major win of his career.
During the post-trophy presentation interview with NBC's Bob Costas, a British fan who goes by the name of "Official Jungle Bird" decided to photobomb the interview with some awesome squawking:
