On Saturday night, October 13, HBO Boxing presents a fantastic doubleheader on its Boxing After Dark series. In this special video fight preview, Jim Lampley discusses the card and why he's so enthused about it. The main event is a very intriguing match between Nonito Donaire and Toshiaki Nishioka, but the co-feature is what really has people buzzing, the fistic fireworks which are all but ensured when Brandon Rios squares off against Mike Alvarado. Rios vs. Alvarado certainly has "Fight of the Year" written all over it, but Lampley says it's foolish to try to predict that. And it is. Nevertheless, the way that these two men have shown that they fight and engage their opponents, it should be a real thrilling match for as long as it lasts. And it's not to underplay Donaire vs. Nishioka, which is a high quality match between two top tier champions, and each will be looking to make a statement on the big stage.
