Found March 09, 2013 on Project Spurs:
The San Antonio Spurs may have received an old-fashion basketball beat down last night versus the Portland Trail Blazers but Kawhi Leonard gave the fans at the AT&T Center to cheer about. After a scramble for the ball in the third quarter, Tim Duncan got control of the ball and flipped it to Leonard. All that as standing between Kawhi and the basket was Nicolas Batum when this happened! Check out Leonard throwing one down on Batum.

Tony Parker Likely To Return Earlier Than Scheduled

Gregg Popovich believes Tony Parker will return to the San Antonio Spurs' lineup before the four weeks he was expected to miss.

Caught on Camera: Boris Diaw's snot

Hope you like childish enjoyment. Boris Diaw is an NBA basketball player for the San Antonio Spurs. Boris Diaw got the the free throw line. A cameraman got a closeup of the free throw shooter. Boogies (not Cousins) came out of the shooter's nose. If that's not high comedy I don't know what is. At least he didn't wipe it on anybody.

Video: Tony Parker - From Fast Break to Fashion Runway

Players do not always eat, sleep and drink basketball.  They have hobbies/interests that keep their passion occupied while they are away from the court. If you ever seen San Antonio Spurs' Tony Parker on the sidelines recently, you will notice that he always looks sharp and well dressed.   Now most people would have you believe that it is the work a hired stylist that...

Duncan's, Parker's contracts are two of the best values in the NBA

I’m not really a salary cap guy. I don’t spend a lot of time looking at what players are getting paid, how contracts are structured or how teams avoid the luxury tax. But I do know good value when I see it. Recently, Sports Illustrated did a column on the best value contracts in the NBA. Not surprisingly, both San Antonio Spurs' Tim Duncan and Tony Parker made the...

Spurs are drawing closer to 50 wins... again

The San Antonio Spurs are about to reach a milestone for the team that they thought wouldn't happen again after the team got older and started dropping from the defensive ratings these past few years. The Spurs are about to enter their 14th season of reaching 50 wins this season, only two shy of this accomplishment. This stretch began during the 1999-2000 season when...

Spurs-Trailblazers pregame tweets

With injured guard Tony Parker sidelined for an expected four weeks, the San Antonio Spurs (48-14) haven't missed a beat in terms of winning as the Spurs have defeated their last two opponents by an average of 28.5 points per game. The Spurs will host the visiting Portland Trailblazers (28-32) who have been inconsistent on both sides of the ball this season, but did defeat...

Well, he wasn't going to teach actual basketball skills.

Lillard, Blazers destroy Spurs in rare home loss

Stephen Jackson made it short and simple Friday night after the San Antonio Spurs were annihilated at home by the Portland Trailblazers 136-106, as Portland came into San Antonio having lost their previous seven road games. “Damian Lillard had a hell of a game and their team followed suit.” “He was pretty special,” added Spurs head Coach Gregg Popovich after the game...

Thunder-Spurs Preview

One game separates the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder in the race for the Western Conference's best record. The Thunder have won five straight and will look to pull even with a Spurs team playing without Tony Parker in Monday night's marquee matchup at the AT&T Center. San Antonio (48-15) leads Oklahoma City (47-16) for the conference's top record,...

Video: Bertans rocks the rim in dunk contest

When Davis Bertans isn't lighting it up from long-distance for Partizan in Serbia, he is showing he can put down some nice dunks. Bertans, who came packaged in the trade that sent George Hill to the Indiana Pacers and Kawhi Leonard to the San Antonio Spurs during the 2011 NBA Draft, participated in a dunk contest and actually showed off some impressive dunks. From a...
