(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) By DAVE CAMPBELL AP Pro Football Writer The Minnesota Vikings must play perhaps their best yet this season to emerge from the last six games with a playoff spot, let alone a winning record. The defensive line will have a big part in this. They visit Chicago on Sunday and Green Bay the week after, facing the NFC North co-leaders with 7-3 records. The Vikings are right behind them at 6-4. Bears quarterback Jay Cutler missed the last game because of a concussion. He's taken the second-most sacks in the league with 28. Aaron Rodgers of the Packers is first with 32. After tying for the NFL lead with 50 sacks last year, the Vikings have slipped a bit. They're tied for 11th in the league with 26. --- Online: http://pro32.ap.org/poll and http://twitter.com/AP-NFL

Rodgers: Firing Tedford a 'terrible decision'

University of California football coach Jeff Tedford was fired Tuesday in his 11th season at the school, and his most successful former player didn't waste any time coming to his defense. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who started for Tedford in 2003 and '04, disagreed strongly with his alma mater's move during his weekly radio show on ESPN 540 in Milwaukee...

Jermichael Finley vents about his problems with Aaron Rodgers again

The more he talks, the more Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley makes himself sound like the scorned ex-girlfriend of Aaron Rodgers. There was a point in time a few years back where it looked like Finley could emerge as Rodgers’ favorite target and one of the best tight ends in the league. Now, any day with multiple catches is an above average one for the former Texas...

Chicago Bears/Pittsburgh Steelers: Quarterback Aches

After an embarrassing loss on Monday Night Football, the Chicago Bears have a record of 7-3 and are in second place behind the Green Bay Packers via a tiebreaker. That should sound familiar to Bears fans as the team was also 7-3 last year. But a year ago this week, Quarterback Jay Cutler broke his thumb on his throwing hand trying to make a tackle against the San Diego Chargers. Without...

Suh To Schaub: Rack Me...

2012 Week 12 Picks

Happy Thanksgiving, y’all. The things I’m thankful for today include the amazing Chef Spouse, my new business, and the fact that the Eagles aren’t playing today and thus won’t ruin what should be a lovely holiday. What with the feast preparations, getting my picks in got a little delayed. So I’ll be brief: Panthers at Eagles for MNF: Panthers. I think it’s entirely...
