PLAYERS: Vince Young
Vince Young is trying to get back into the league, and part of that quest is trying to convince potential teams that he’s not as big a problem as his reputation seems to say he is. Young admitted he could have handle things a little better, but told ESPN’s First Take that any talk of him not being a hard worker or a leader is false according to Pro Football Talk. “You could never say that I wasn’t a hard worker, leading the team, doing all these things that they said I’m not doing,” Young said. “And that’s what kills me when I’m out here working extremely hard every summer time and don’t get the opportunity to shine like most guys has had. I just want a lot of people to understand that I have been through a lot in my life, in my 29 years, and I have owned up to it. I’ve made my mistakes. But I just really feel like people can get past that and let me finish my career like I want it to be and be a great asset for a football team.” Young is 29 years old now and definitely has talent.  The lights have to go on for Young and they need to go on right now.  If he can’t convince teams that he can be unselfish and mature, than his career is over.
