Fresno State is hosting the sixth annual Best in the West Invitational this weekend at theStudent Horse Center. The Bulldogs will host Texas Christian University and the Universityof Tennessee Martin in a head to head competition, where the winner will be named "Bestin the West."

Following an outstanding freshman campaign, Fresno State sophomore Aaron Judge was recognized by College Baseball Insider on Monday as a Preseason Honorable Mention All-American. This is the second national honor for the Linden, Calif. native, who was also named a Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper at the end of the 2011 season.
