The University of Illinois women's tennis team (5-1) will return to action this Sunday in South Bend, Ind., to take on No. 23 Notre Dame at 11 a.m. CT. The Illini are coming off a 16-day break after a convincing 6-1 win over SMU on Feb. 3.

The Fighting Illini women's tennis team (5-2) jumped out to an early lead on Sunday but could not hold off No. 23 Notre Dame (6-3), dropping a 4-3 heartbreaker at Eck Tennis Pavilion. Junior Rachael White led the Orange and Blue with victories in both singles and doubles action.
A four-run eighth inning enabled Notre Dame to register a 5-2 come-from-behind victory over Iowa Saturday morning at Jack Russell Stadium in the Big Ten/Big East Challenge.
