That's the giant Tiger statue outside of Tiger Stadium. We just talked briefly to Franklin Gutierrez (who isn't in the lineup; it would have been a major upset if he was). He showed up two hours ago and has already ridden the bike and had two treatments.
"I feel good,'' he said.
Asked if he was sore, he said, "A little bit, but I'm fine.''
Trainer Rick Griffin said that Gutierrez was "OK,'' noting he had swelling in his left elbow and inflammation in his left knee. "Other than that, not too bad,'' Griffin said.,
