TEAMS: Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams
All the playoff scenarios in the world won't mean a thing if the Seahawks don't win their final four games of the season, beginning with tonight's matchup against the Rams. One thing that bears close watching is the play of the offensive line. With RG John Moffitt, RT James Carpenter, and now LT Russell Okung all on injured reserve, the o-line currently consists of Paul McQuistan at LT, Robert Gallery at LG, Max Unger at C, Lemuel Jeanpierre at RG, and Breno Giacomini at RT. McQuistan still has yet to make me anything more than nervous, but the solid play of Giacomini and Jeanpierre (the latter in limited snaps as an injury replacement) is a testament to the quality of the team's depth along the o-line, something that was sorely missing under Jim Mora and Tim Ruskell.
The Rams may have a lot of problems, but poor defensive line play is not among them -- how McQuistan and Giacomini perform against St. Louis' DEs Robert Quinn and Chris Long should tell us an aw...

Video: Marshawn Lynch tastes the rainbow after touchdown
Marshawn's mom, look what you started. In the early days of Marshawn Lynch's career, she would give him Skittles for every touchdown. Cameras caught him indulging in this sweet treat after he scored a touchdown against the Eagles, and a phenomenon was born.
At Monday night's win over the Rams, fans who packed CenturyLink Field held up signs with Skittles bags glued to...
Doug Baldwin shows he's a beauty even during ugly game
Baldwin made three key special-teams plays, caught a touchdown pass and led the Seahawks in receiving with seven catches for 93 yards.
Metro Basketball Power Rankings And Predictions: Week 2
After a week of basketball, I can already tell you that this division is up for grabs. No. 1 Seattle Prep, on paper was considered the team that would run away with the division, but they lost their home opener against Rainier Beach last Tuesday. There were a couple more upsets in this division: Eastside knocking off Lakeside and West Seattle beating Bainbridge. This just shows how...

Seahawks vs. Rams Postgame Observations
Seahawks vs. Rams Postgame ObservationsFinal Score: Seattle 30, St. Louis 13
The Rams are terrible
There’s no getting around this fact in the Seahawks’ 30-13 drubbing of the Rams on Monday Night Football. Actually, they might be the worst team in the NFL right now with the amount of injuries they’ve stacked up. They have no capable receivers aside from Brandon Loyd...
Week 14 - Seahawks Win! (R-Rated Thread)
It was ugly, especially when the offense decided to spend the first half playing down to the level of the competition, but a win is a win. Also, the offensive line still makes me nervous, but McQuistan held up better at left tackle than I thought he would, and Giacomini bounced back after getting beaten multiple times early on (mostly by bull rushes).
But enough out of me, what...
Seahawks (slightly less) longshot playoff possibilities
Atlanta Falcons (8-5)Remaining opponents:vs. Jacksonville (4-9)at New Orleans (10-3)vs. Tampa Bay (4-9)Remaining opponents collective winning percentage: .436It is technically possible for the Seahawks to pass the Falcons in the playoff chase. It is not -- however -- realistic nor is it feasible. Not with Atlanta owning a head-to-head tiebreaker against Seattle by virtue of the Week...
Pompei's quick look: Bears vs. Seahawks
Quick look: The Seahawks remain in a rebuilding mode in Year 2 of the Pete Carroll regime. After making an astounding 284 roster moves in 2010, 77 percent of the players on the roster are in their first or second year with the team, including 26 first-year players.
Lynch tops 100 again, Seahawks beat Rams (AP)
Doug Baldwin picked a national stage to remind the rest of the NFL what they passed up in last April's draft. Baldwin, an undrafted rookie out of Stanford, blocked a first-quarter punt that was returned by Michael Robinson 17 yards for a touchdown, then caught a 29-yard TD pass from Tarvaris Jackson in the third quarter as the Seattle Seahawks pulled away for a 30-13 win over the staggering...
