First off let my say that i bleed purple and gold and I know that this thread is going to be Laker baised but someone in the Laker nation has got to have the same feelings about the direction our team is headed.  First off with Phil leaving this summer, we all knew he was going to retire into his zen heaven and the next coach would have to win a championship this year to even be comparable.  Coach Brown i feel has done a great job this year but many are not agreeing to this, He has had his problems offensively but has made the entire roster buy into defense and has made the Lakers a top 5 defensive team.  The Laker nation was going to view Coach Brown as a step down no matter what.  Next what are Jeanie and Jim Buss doing with the organization? I know we have to move on from Jerry at some point but it is looking like the Lakers are headed downhill fast with his children in charge.  First is was not aquiring Chris Paul before the season and now it is treating Derek Fisher with no reguard to the 13 dedicated seasons he gave to the Lakers and their fans.  I know this is a buisness and that you cant hold on to the past but i feel like Fisher deserved better than how Jeanie and Jim handled it.  I know im not the only one in the Laker Nation that is feeling this way, Give me some feedback people.
