When You Say Washington. Bad Thoughts Come To Mind. And I'm Not Talking About the Shutdown.

Posted October 12, 2013

On Sunday night we get the dreaded Redskins once again.   Let me just get to the point.  Tossing aside all insincere platitudes.  To say I dislike WAS is a huge understatement.  At this point we badly need a win.  What better way to do so.  Than by declaring war on a bitter rival.  In route to getting on a run at the table of games left.  Optimism is high from last week's performance by DAL's offense.

I can think of no better way of personally making me feel better from the nonsense coming out of the other part of Washington.  Than to put a Texas size butt kicking on a up and coming implacable rival Redskins team.  A convincing win against WAS.  Would go a long way in bringing the Cowboys back into focus.  Getting their act together.  We are due to have a huge bust out against WAS.

Repeating the fast start on offense.  Keeping stiff pressure on defense.  Will do just nicely.  Forcing a young WAS team to match up.  Which in past games this season have started slow.  They've proven they can come back.  It's my opinion that constant pressure early and often.  The breaking point will occur sooner rather than later.  Realistically, both teams know each other too well, for a high powered game.  The one who turns the ball over less.  Keep's the best field position.  Should win.

However,  Cowboys have a notorious history of playing down to the other team's talent level.  A habit that desperately needs to change.  Cowboys have focus issues.  The talent is there.  The urgency is hugely lacking.  Fix that and the strong finish at the end.  We got something.  I'm still with my Boys through thick and thin.  Go Cowboys,....... Keep up the good work for another week.  The big win will happen.

  • The urgency is hugely lacking Robbo. I'm certainly not worried about our offense putting up points. I'm worried about our defense and turnovers. We need this game desperately. Washington has a few good players that are back now too. I think it will be close but I see our Cowboys victorious.
  • Hey "T",..... This could be the start of something good. If the Cowboys pay attention to the gospel truth, of the greatest fans on the planet :), except for Jerry running things his way. We're good to go. I can't say strongly enough. Some kind of way the team release the talent we have, by playing smart football. It wouldn't even have to come to this, T.

Oh well,...... hoping for the best and expecting a lot of unforced errors. As usual what happens. I mean out of nowhere. The roller coaster ride has no certainty. Up, down, whatever. I'm not going to give up hope. That somehow, some way, the Cowboys will piece this thing together for the good. Take car bro.
  • The defense came through Robbo. Another division win for us. Now we need to beat the Eagles. I saw some of their game against the Jaguars, I mean Tampa Bay. They definitely are not the team they were two years ago. Not as explosive. They still have a lot of talent but they look confused with Chip Kelly. I like us to win the game.
  • You said it right the first time T. In essence they had a bye week. We will get the win. Based on Egret's defense, or the lack thereof. I feel pretty good that our defense is head and shoulders above the Egrets of late. No telling about the intangibles. Still though we can win this one no doubt.
  • They were 31st in the league against the pass before the Bucs game. Now they are 29th. They are terrible against the pass. I hope Murray can not only play but also be effective. It will give Tony opportunities down the field to torch the Turd secondary.
