It seems so obvious, doesn't it? One of the world's biggest entertainers not only loves the game of golf, yet hosts his own tournament, and in the nation's most enticing entertainment vortex, to boot. So why on earth is Justin Timberlake's Las Vegas tournament stuck on a forgettable baseball postseason/NFL weekend right after the end of the FedEx Cup playoffs? There are missed opportunities, and then there are opportunities you whiff worse than Kevin Na did this weekend at Timberlake's Shriners Open. Of course, Na went on to win the tournament, so perhaps there's a chance, but still ... let's look at this logically for a moment. Love him or hate him, Timberlake is one hell of an entertainer and attention magnet. And the fact that he loves the game of golf enough to host a tournament and buy a golf course in his hometown of Memphis speaks volumes here.
