Your guess is as good as mine whether Oklahoma State will ramp up the offense more Saturday than against the last team they faced wearing purple. The Cowboys seemed to put points on the board when they decided to go fast, including the fourth quarter drive in which they marched the length of the field for what proved to be the game's winning points.

Gary Patterson Says Oklahoma State Has Best Offensive Line TCU Has Faced, Fans Don’t Agree

At yesterday’s weekly media luncheon, TCU head coach Gary Patterson talked about his team’s upcoming game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Not only did the winningest coach in TCU history applaud the Cowboys’ defense, he also gave extremely high praise to their offensive line. “Just looking [at] it up to this point, [they're] probably the best offensive line we’ll...

Oklahoma State slows it down when necessary

Oklahoma State's offense slowed its typically up-tempo offense in its last game, but coach Mike Gundy was made clear that the game circumstances dictated the change. After squeaking out a 33-29 victory over Kansas State on Oct. 5, the No. 21 Cowboys (4-1, 1-1 Big 12), coming off a bye week, intend to have their offense back up to speed when they host conference rival TCU on...

Rudolph, Grandpa Excited For OSU-TCU

Oklahoma State paid a visit last week to the 2014 recruiting class quarterback commitment as the Cowboys staff used the bye weekend as a recruiting evaluation weekend. Offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich was in Rock Hill, S.C., to see Northwestern High beat Clover 49-6 to improve to 7-0. Cowboys commitment Mason Rudolph was 14-of-16 passing for 215 yards with five touchdown passes.

GoPokes TV: Marcus Smart

Marcus Smart was in high demand on Monday during the Oklahoma State basketball team's Media Day. The Preseason National Player of the Year by Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook visited with GoPokes.com about practice thus far, expectations for the Cowboys this season and if this is the year that someone can unseat nine-time defending champion Kansas in the Big 12.

Forte’s One Final Season With Smart

Phil Forte is preparing to enter unchartered territory. For the past 12 years, since they became best friends in the third grade, Forte and Marcus Smart have been playing basketball on the same court together. But the Oklahoma State sophomore guard knows that’s about to change, and he wants to make the 2013-14 season one that both of them will remember for the rest of his lives.

Cowboys Hoping Bye Week Pays Off

As Homecoming and Saturday's game approaches, TCU Horned Frogs head coach Gary Patterson said Monday that he is unhappy. He believes the Big 12 schedule isn't exactly fair as his team will face first Oklahoma State this Saturday and then Texas the next week, and both teams will have had a bye week, in other words, an extra week to prepare for TCU.
