The women's hockey team at Dalhousie University is being forced to forfeit the remaining games on their schedule after 19 of their 24 players were suspended. The suspensions stem from a hazing incident back in September that allegedly involved "excessive drinking, intimidation, humiliation, and personal disrespect". School officials launched an investigation shortly thereafter and wrapped up their probe in November. However, they waited until after the final exam period and holidays before handing out punishment. All five players who were went suspended are all freshman, and most likely the recipients of the alleged hazing.I believe it's safe to assume that none of those five will be continuing the hazing tradition beyond this year.Via Deadspin.
