JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Suspended receiver Justin Blackmon will join the Jacksonville Jaguars for their stay on the West Coast. Coach Gus Bradley says the NFL confirmed that Blackmon can join coaches and teammates in Fremont, Calif., next week, where he will participate in meetings. Blackmon is suspended the first four games for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. He's not allowed to practice or attend games during the suspension. Since Jacksonville plays at Oakland on Sunday and then at Seattle the following week, Bradley decided to keep the team in northern California between games. Blackmon will join his teammates, but will have to fly west after Sunday's game and then return to Jacksonville before the team heads to Seattle. Blackmon caught 64 passes for 865 yards and five touchdowns as a rookie last season.

The Blaine Gabbert era in Jacksonville may have just ended

The Blaine Gabbert era may finally, mercifully be over. The team announced that starting quarterback Blaine Gabbert will be out in week two against the Oakland Raiders with a laceration on his hand. The news means backup Chad Henne will once again be called upon to fill in for Gabbert. Blaine Gabbert will not play this week due to laceration on his hand. #Jaguars — Jacksonville...

The Jaguars should sign Tim Tebow today

The Jacksonville Jaguars are terrible, that is not news.  The fact that they don't have a franchise QB, is not news.  The fact that they cannot fill their stadium is not news.  What is news is that Blaine Gabbert is injured, they need a QB and Tim Tebow is available. The Jaguars need to face reality.  They are not going to win many games this year and they are in danger...

Gratz, a starter opposite veteran Alan Ball, left the game in the second quarter with what the team initially thought was a bruised shin. But further evaluation determined...

Blaine Gabbert: What the Hand Injury Really Means to the Jaguars

Jaguars display more offensive futility in opener

If the season opener is any indication, the Jacksonville Jaguars might want to brace for another long season. Between Blaine Gabbert's injured throwing hand, several dropped passes and a woeful offensive line, the Jaguars face plenty of issues following a 28-2 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. It was the worst opener in Jacksonville's 19 seasons - and not even close...

Opening loss shows Jaguars still have long way to go

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Until Sunday, the last NFL team to score only two points in a game was the 1993 Cincinnati Bengals. Let the facts show their 7-2 loss to the New England Patriots dropped them to 1-12 for that season, a harsh indictment of a team headed by a former coordinator with no previous head coaching experience of which to speak in David Shula. The Jacksonville Jaguars...

Think Gabbert stinks? Get used to it

The Jacksonville Jaguars held the lead for 8 minutes, 34 seconds Sunday. But thanks to the low-powered, the other 51-plus minutes were pretty much a debacle, leading to a 37-stomping at home to the Colts. Through four games, it's clearly a trend for the 0-4 Jags -- and apparently their head coach is going to stick with plan. Blaine Gabbert, who missed the past two games because...
